Samuel Davis Dalembert is a Haitian-Canadian former professional basketball player who played primarily as a center. Standing 6-foot-11, Dalembert was known for his defensive presence, rebounding and shot-blocking ability. He entered the NBA after going undrafted in 2001 and made his professional debut with the Philadelphia 76ers. Dalembert spent more than a decade in the NBA, also playing for the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks. He finished his NBA career with more than 8,000 points, 7,000 rebounds and 1,000 blocks.
